Scott Thompson (born February 25, 1965), known by the stage name Carrot Top, is an American stand-up comedian, actor, director, producer, writer, and best known for his bright red hair, prop comedy, and self-deprecating humor. Used to do commercials for 1-800-CALL-ATT in the late 90s. Often replaced Sam Kinison to open rock concerts, after his death in a car accident. That bothers a lot of people, especially comics. Friends with comedian Rodney Carrington and has appeared in a number of his music videos. Thompson was born on February 25, 1965 in Rockledge, Florida, and grew up in nearby Cocoa. He was one of the roasters at the Comedy Central Roast of Flavor Flav and Gene Simmons Roast. He is an actor, known for The Aristocrats (2005), Smiley Face (2007) and Comedy Central Roast of Flavor Flav (2007). He did an audio-commentary on the DVD to The Rules of Attraction (2002), even though he had virtually no involvement in the film.
